This website was originally created by the once-duo of Virginia Craft and David Halterman to chronicle our myriad adventures together.
Together, we were interested in broadening the lengths and depths to which we experienced the world by pushing our limits, both mental and physical. Seeking to expand our knowledge, appreciation, and compassion, we explored and discovered the pieces that eventually revealed to us the grander picture of what it means to be alive.
Completed Ventures Together:
- Coast-to-Coast Bicycle Trip (2014)
- Appalachian Trail – SOBO (2014)
- Sierra High Route (2015)
- Wind River High Route (2015)
- Colorado Trail (2016)
- Lowest-to-Highest Route (2016)
Now that we’ve pursued our lives separately, I, Virginia, am now upkeeping this blog. Living and practicing at the Center for Contemplative Research (aka Miyo Samten Ling Hermitage) in Crestone, Colorado, I am engaged in the ultimate mind training — the space where true healing and freedom lie.
